There's this big homophobic jerk Harit Kumar who has been running around spamming facebook forums with made up facts and allegations against homosexuality under the guise of fighting to prevent HIV. His rants are full of missteps in logic.
He says he'll open a rehab centre for gays, asking them for contact details so that he may be able to 'help' them. He wants to eliminate homosexuality from India. He has openly supported re-instating the ban on gay sex (article 377) that was established in 1860 and struck down in 2009.

As it is we're a repressed minority, especially in India, where, while there isn't vehement opposition to gays, they're marginalized to the extent that no one talks about them. It's like they don't exist. As a result most of us don't have the courage to be ourselves even to our nearest and dearest ones, we need to stand together in times of threats like this retard.
What can we guys do to stop him? I keep retorting to his spam posts but he makes so many.. and when facebook bans one of his accounts, he makes another one.
Other than this he's also made a movie showing the horrors of HIV and appends the poignant bits with jibes at homosexuality. He even says in the trailer that AIDS is God's punishment for people's tolerance of homosexuality.
I don't have much experience dealing with such people, and I'm not sure how to go about handling this. I'd hate to accidentally launch him into a Streisand effect wave and help him gain more soft power, so I'm not being too loud in my attempts counter him. But I'm very concerned that people actually replied to his comments saying that they were interested in accepting his help in 'curing' them.

Do not argue with him, since being proven wrong means nothing to him. He enjoys the ass whooping too.
Do not call him from your phone. There's a group of 3-4 dumb jobless people who spam together. I have their telephone numbers and stuff if you're interested.
Do NOT join the group called Gay and LGBT vs Harit Kumar. That's a vanity exercise by the jerk. There are other anti-hate groups if you're interested.

UPDATE: His youtube account was deleted, and the insanely long rant that he keeps spamming on fb has been recognized as hate-speech by facebook too. So that's nice to have.
